Pete gets a new Sleeping Bag
Pete (ABSL Ash Colony) has used the same sleeping bag he bought when he first went into Venture Scouts back
in 1977. It is a duck down mummy style one, and is very warm, even in the coldest weather. The problem is, it has never been cleaned in the 28 years that
he has owned it. "I don't see the problem" says Pete.
However, after various threats from his wife Julie (BSL Ash Colony) he has relented and bought a new one from Millets. "It's not as good as my old one,
and can only be used in the spring or summer. It'll do, but if I go on winter camp with the Scouts, I'm using old faithful again."
"We'll see" says Julie
